Educational background

Asghar Rahimi was born in Maragheh, Iran, in 1975 and in 1993 completed the elementary studies in the same city. In 1998, he received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Tabriz. He finished his master on pure mathematics from  Amirkabir University of Technology in 2000, Tehran, Iran. His master thesis was on operator theory and Banach algebra.  In 2006, he received his Ph.D., under the direction of Professor Y. N. Dehghan, from the University of Tabriz, Iran. His Ph.D. thesis title is  “Frame Theory from the point of view of operator theory”. In 2006, he moved to the University of Maragheh, where he is now an associated Professor in Mathematical Analysis. He has  mathematical cooperation with O. Christensen, P. Balazs, D. Bayer, A. Najati, Y. N. Dehghan, M. H. Fauroghi, M.R. Abdolahpour, R. Ahmadi, A.H. Feridoony, S. Najafzadeh and …. .
He was in Denmark Technical University (DTU), from November 2005 until July 2006, (at the cooperation with Professor Ole Christensen).  He was in Acoustics Research Institute (ARI), Austrian Academy of Sciences in the summers of 2009, 2010 and 2011 ( at the cooperation with Dr. Peter Balazs).  Also he attended at Joint  ICTP-TWAS school on Coherence state transform, time-frequency and time-scale analysis, 2-21 June 2014, ICTP, Triste, Italy.
